Eragon was boring. I never really read the whole thing, but it doesn't sound very good. Dragon Rider is a good book.

If you ask me, Eragon was a bunch of fantasy all jumbled together. It had no real plot thing of it's own.

I never read eather but Iv seen Eragon the movie, I think its a good movie, and I agree with Sparkeh on the hot guy part ^_^

THEY MENTION DWARVES ONCE IN THE MOVIE! ONCE! ICEY COUNTED! She was bored.... anyway... the movie was horrible! A third of the book was about dwarvess, and in the movie, the only time they said dwarves, was, "The elves and the dwarves gathered....." It was so dumb. But the book was very good. If you saw the movie and think eragon is worse than Dragon Rider, and you think that off the movie... I am ashamed in you...

In the movie, you couldn't tell the difference between an Urgal and Galbatorix's soldiers. Also, they made Roran join the army, deeming that they couldn't make a sequel. The movie SUCKED!

I didn't see the Percy Jackson movie. I still say the book was good fro a 17 year old author, but not for a real classic.

Yeah. Percy Jackson and The Lightning Theif was an awful movie compared to the book. I wish they would make a warriors movie...
