Hi everyone. I decided to start to write a story. It is based off Warriors, but does not have any of the characters that are in any of the books. Let me know if you like the starting and I will continue to write it, but if it is bad give criticism or just tell me it is not so good.

IN THE DISTANCE

Sky jumped up on the fence post and stared blankly into the forest. He did this daily always pondering about something. Everyday his friend, Swish, always asked him what he was staring at, but Sky never replied.

Today Sky had not jumped up onto the fence post. Swish was waiting for him there for his daily routine. Swish thought and said to himself, That lazy cat is probably still sleeping or getting spoiled by the twolegs.

Sky was actually dreaming. The tom was dreaming about the forest. Sky always felt like there was something familiar about the forest. In his dream the scent of the forest smelled familiar. Sky was walking through the forest until he came face-to-face with a golden tabby. Sky got one look at him and then he finally woke up.

Sky stretched and yawned until he got up and headed out into the fresh air. Once outside Sky saw Swish on the fence post he was always on. "Hey Swish what are you doing?"

Swish looked down at Sky and jumped onto the grassy ground. "Just looking at the forest like you usually do." Sky quickly replied, "You know...Something is just familiar out there in the forest. It is like a use to live there. I do not know what it is though." Sky paused before he started again, "I think I am going to have a look."

Sky jumped up on the post and observed the forest. "No Sky. You would never survive. There are wild cats that would massacre you out there. Please, please, please do not go."

Sky stared at the forest and back down to Swish. Sky had no clue what to do.

Just a start give me your thought, good? bad?

Ok! I will continue! I will add a prologue right now.

PROLOGUE

A golden tabby flew through the woods making hardly a noise. It was as if the leaves and twigs on the forest floor made no noise. The cat must have been avoiding the leaves and twigs for a reason. Behind her two other cats followed, one gray tom and one black she-cat. These cats were a part of the RiverClan. They ran in a straight line heading in a pretty fast pace. They were heading towards the RiverClan to avoid any rogue cats or ShadowClan cats.

All of a sudden the three cats stopped and six ears popped up. They had heard a noise. The golden tabby spun around skillfully and saw three other cats looking at her.These three cats were from the ShadowClan. All of these black cats looked the same besides the white spot on one of the cats neck. The cats stared at each other for a good while, showing their hatred against each other. All of the cats thought that the other clan had done something so despicable that StarClan would punish them extremely.

The cats finally went into battle. All of their claws and teeth locked in with one another. Lots of blood and fur was flying everywhere until a giant black and white rogue cat came up to them. Two other cats behind the rogue were with him too. All the cats stopped fighting instantly. Their eyes of hatred against the clans, then turned to pure hatred against the three rogue cats. The cats quickly ran away. ShadowClan heading one way, RiverClan heading a different.

There was a root that had grown up out of the ground. The gray cat from the RiverClan had tripped over the root and the giant cat ran after him. The giant cat leaped into the air and fell onto the gray cat and locked his jaw in the cat's back. The golden tabby and black she-catturned around and stared petrified at the sight. "Violenttail! You rogue. You might have killed one of RiverClan's finest deputies, but you will never chase out RiverClan like you did with ThunderClan and WindClan." screamed the golden tabby.

Violenttail just spat at her and turned his attention to the black she-cat. Violenttail grinned and jumped onto the she-cat killing her as well. The golden tabby was horrified and just ran far away.

Violenttail, a rogue, has murdered the ShadowClan Leader and left the clan along with two other cats. The three cats ran off the WindClan and ThunderClan. There is little hope for the ShadowClan and RiverClan, but can two kittypets come and safe the clans...

Swish shook his head and said, "Well...If you are going in there...so am I." Swish looked at the forest saying to himself, Man. I sure am gonna regret this. "Well...that sounds great. We will head out at dawn." exclaimed Sky.

Sky was extremely excited. He could not wait to find out if the familiar golden tabby was really out there in the forest. "Ok Sky. Lets go say our goodbyes and do whatever else there is because sunhigh is almost at an end." Swish stated still staring at the forest.

"Lets go say goodbye to Copper right now. He certainly will miss us." said Swish looking over at Copper's house and starting to walk that way. "Hopefully the old cat will be up by now." said Sky. "Man, that cat doesn't get up until moonhigh."

Sky ran over to Copper's house running past Swish. "Come on Swish. Don't you want to hurry up." yelled Sky. "Save your energy for the forest." stated Swish. "Well...I guess so." sighed Sky.

"Hey whats up old buddy? Me and Swish here, are gonna venture into the forest." said Sky happily. "We just came by to say good-bye." added Swish.

Copper's eyes got wide and said, "You guys are gonna head into that there forest. You might as well just walk onto that path and get hit by those monsters. But it isn't my decision. Good-bye." Sky and Swish chatted for a while with Copper,but eventually they left.

As Sky was walking back to his home he spotted catnip. "Hey, why don't we roll in catnip one last time?" questioned Sky. "Awwww...Yes." said Swish happily. They both bounded over to the clump og catnip and rolled around in it for a good 20 minutes. "Well...That should be good. Lets head out." stated Swish.

They both got up and walked toward the forest. You could tell that Swish was nervous and Sky was as happy as could be. I know I will regret this. thought Swish. Lets go. Lets go! I want to find that golden tabby. thought Sky eagerly.

Sky and Swish had made it to the edge of the forest without saying a word to each other. Swish took a big swallow and Sky was just smiling. Then without a word they both walked into the vegetation.
