( I'm writing a book using my own Clans, but on this site I'll use the original Clans)
Brightkit's mother was killed just a second after she was born, by an ambush to ThunderClan's camp. Goldenpatch, her mother, never got a chance to name her, and thus, she was named by her leader... or was she? Did Goldenpatch send the leader a message from StarClan to name this kit Brightkit? Or did the leader just think of a name that suited her? A nursery queen that had been one of Brightkit's mother's closest friends had offered to nurse young Brightkit and take care of her like she was her own kit. Brightkit has no siblings, for she was the only one to be born after her mother's death. She has no idea who or where her father is, but she isn't half-Clan.
Since then, Brightkit has been trying to seek the cat that killed her mother. Strangly, though she was just born at the time, she remembers the whole thing, and the menacing eyes that belonged to the cat that dragged her mother out of the camp's enterance...
