Muddy crept into the thicket, he hated Silence. Silence liked hanging out with Clan cats and Muddy couldn't understand why. Muddy's sister Lilac agreed and together, they set out to find the she-loner. Muddy heard that Silence lived here so he was determined to find her. "Silence," he growled. Muddy hoped the she-loner agreed to fight. That was the only reason to settle things.

Silence was sleeping peacefully in her nest. She was exhausted. She had been constantly fighting clan cats and visiting Fallenpaw, her adopted kit in ThunderClan, secretly. She wasn't supposed to go near ThunderClan anymore. She had murdered 2 of their cats in anger and revenge. Silence layed there, having haunted dreams of clan cats' death. She had had this ever since Blazestorm died. She couldn't sleep, and any cat could tell with one look at the tired loner. Silence sat in her piles of moss, sleeping soundly. An odd smell hit her nose, however, and her eyes shot open. She looked around, still laying down. She knew that smell. She would know that smell anywhere. "Muddy. Lilac." she growled, angry.

((Hey, you guys. It's Spotty. Let's revamp this to recently and say Silence was stalking prey in the thicket and caught a whiff of our scent. Kewl? I'll start!))
Lilac heard a crunch and then a muttered noise. She sat up straight in her bed and took a whiff of the air. It smelled like loner but she thought they were the only ones who lived in the thicket. She prodded her brother in the shoulder. "Muddy," she whispered. "Wake up...something's not right." The crunching noise came again and this time, Lilac knew something was wrong. She poked her head out of the bushes where they slept and slowly, padded into the open. "Is anyone there?" she called with a shaking voice.
Lilac scurried back into the bushes and half-dragged Muddy into the clearing with her. She needed protection and her brother was the most arrogant cat she knew. She knew Muddy would die than not protect the ones he loved. At least, she hoped so. "Muddy!" she whispered again. "I smell loner." A low growl came from the nearby trees and Lilac had to hold herself down with her unsheathed claws from keeping herself from flying in the air with shock. It was mouse-brained, but it worked. The loner swallowed and took a deep breath. Whatever was going to happen next, they had to be prepared.
((EEK! Short post, I didn't know what to write!))

((Hey, Spotteh! Just for your info, Muddy and Lilac don't live in the Thicket, they live in thePines I think...)) "The insolent rogues..." Silence muttered, giving up her attempt on sleep (or prey?). Forcing herself to a slumbered stand, she swayed all the way to the source.
"Lilac?" she hissed as the smell grew stronger, though not a single cat was in sight. "Lilac? Come on, now, no need to be uncooperative. I know you're there..." Silence's green eyes darted everywhere, eager to catch something. Coming upon nothing, though, she grumbled and continued on.
"Lilac, it's me, Silence. You remember, don't you?" Silence absently drew her eyes to the bushes, wondering what- or who- they concealed. Almost positive she had found what her eyes had so desperately been looking for, she waited for the right moment to bud in. "I know you're in there, Lilac. I can smell your fear. Do come out, will you? We need to chat... Oh, and while you're at it, ask Muddy to come along. He is not to be left out." Silence's voice creaked, sitting and waiting expectantly for the siblings to exit from their concealment. ((What should this be about? Should this be after Silence and Muddy's conversation or before? Maybe this could just be a short thread about Lilac realizing how much she admires Silence...?)) ((And I hear ya about the short thing. I can't squeeze enough muse into this one!))
