Finding the ferns

[Blade]

Blade needed to find a home.He was tired of living on any territory.So he spent a whole day on the search for one.He looked in riverclan and windclan with no avail.Then he found it while on his way to shadowclan from thunderclan.It was a big forest of ferns.He walked around it until he found a small entrance.He got through it and padded forward until he saw a clearing,he ran towards it and once he was out he looked around and noticed it was where he had started at.So he spent the rest of the day finding a way into the center.Then he found it.A small clearing with tons of mice and rabbits.So he caught some and put them into a different part of his fern territory,'"almost like a clan's fresh-kill-pile",he said to himself.Then he walked out and looked for some moss.He found some on a oak tree and brought it back and made it into a good place to sleep then he made another one just in case ,then fell asleep ,the best rest he had in moons.

Ravenvoice lifted her nose to scent the air. A familiar scent wad drifting on the breeze. Blade!
The young loner trotted at a steady pace, following the scent. Then it ended. Raven was standing in front of a towering forest of ferns. Sne sniffed them. Blade's scent was all over them. Je was deffinitely here. She raised in her hind paws, trying to peek over the ferns, but she was too small.
She tilted her head to he side then sniffed again. Her ears twitched. She could her gentle breathing. Blade was asleep. She wouldn't wake him. Ravenvoice sat down and began to groom. She would wait.

[Blade]

Blade woke up ,he had smelled ravenvoice.He walked out through his path and saw her."Hey ravenvoice how are you",he said trying not to scare her ."Want to see my home"he said to the she-cat.

Ravenvoice looked up from her grooming.
"Blade," she greeted, standing up. "You aren't nomadic anymore?"

She smiled, padding toward him. "Yes, I want to see it."

[Blade]

"Ok follow me because its kind of hard to find the way in i tried and it took me most of the day"He waited for her to get ready and started walking."The only reason i live in this is because i hate being a hobo-cat",He said remmber ing what his twolegs had called other twolegs who didn't have a home. .

Ravenvoice laughed at his comment, shaking the dust from her fur before following. She ran up to Blade's side before slowing her pace to meet his.

"Watch out for snakes i have to do something about them",Blade looked around and saw the clearing and his fresh=kill pile."Rabbit anyone? " He said to ravenvoice then passed her a rabbit and got him a mouse.

Ravenvoice wove through the ferns after Blade.
Snakes didn't scare her, but they could cause a lot of damage to any cat. Some cats had died by snake bite.

As they entered a cozy clearing Ravenvoice spotted a pile of prey, similar to the fresh-kill pile Clan cats had. She gratefully took the rabbit that Blade gave her, suddenly noticing her hunger. She blushed as her stomach growled. The rabbit was small enough for her to eat by herself, and as she tucked in she relished the flavor that filled her mouth.

"Thanks," she murmured, avoiding his gaze.

[Blade]

"Your welcome",blade said.He wasn't really hungry altough he hadn't eaten in days.His body was probley getting used to it.as he choked down the mouse he thought of his twolegs who didn't even feed him,'Well it's way worse than this'."Do you think we should get herbs to use like the clan cats do?It may help us and i know where to get it",Then he looked at ravenvoice waiting for her reply.

Ravenvoice licked her muzzle in satisfaction, wiping traces of prey from her whiskers. She looked up at Blade as he asked her about herbs.
We...?

She said nothing about "we" but nodded her head.
"It would be wise," she mewed. "I think we should.

[Blade]

"ok well hmm i don'tt rally know what we needmabey we could stop by shadowcla"?.Blade said this with a grin on his face.

Ravenvoice stood, stretching delicately. She grinned, her eyes challenging and excited.
"That would seem fun," she purred.

She also had some unfinished business with Sparkspirit that she had to attend. Who knows, maybe she would meet the crazy she-cat as she invaded her old Clan stole of a few stocks of medicine supplies. It was a challenge she was willing to take.
