First off it's SFC Salas not Sgnt Salas. And it's Sgt not Sgnt(we say Sgt). And second from that angle it looks to be a M-14. I may be wrong.

No one will do the research for #1 so here is the answer: It is a 25mm Bushmaster Gattling gun, it is most commonly found inside a Bradley Combat vehicle/ A.P.C.'s main turret. It is nicknamed "25 Mike Mike" (Mike Mike for Milli Meter). First off it's SFC Salas not Sgnt Salas. And it's Sgt not Sgnt(we say Sgt). And second from that angle it looks to be a M-14. I may be wrong. Yes it could look like an M-14 but there are some differences: 1. Look at the magazine being "ejected" from the "top" of the gun. 2. The magazine is to small to hold the standard 15 rds of an M-14. 3. (from picture #2 you cannot see this but...) The bullet is to large to be shot from an M-14, for it is a 30 06. 4. (from picture #2 you cannot see this but...) The barrel is to long. 5. Here is a hint...This is the gun that you will generally use for all the neato fancy stuff called spins and "Queen Ann Salutes" with... Like I said, I couldn't really tell from that angle. I didn't think it was because of the magazine.

....but you are on color guard and......I am not even gonna go there because an M-14 has a stick clip at the bottom of the gun....it does not shoot out of the gun when expended

On colourgaurd we use M-16 not M-14.

its an M1 Garand, the standard military issue rifle in world war two, i'll bet. I couldnt tell what the first weapon was, so I couldnt answer it. The military is supposed to be working on shoulder-mounted defense lasers, or so I hear.
