I'm going to put some of my poems here too. These are all my work, do not steal.
I don't know if I have this one written down anywhere, but it's one of my favorites because of the rhythm. I'm going to try to remember all the words correctly...
Evermore.
Now rise the drums of Evermore To beat upon my heart, its fastened door Of seals and locks and time-scabbed sores Whence the shielded warriors spring And hasten through the twisted vines That knit the flesh, the bone, the soul And together my body create in twisted matrimony.
And from my palms comes forth the flood Of fear and sweat and rising blood And from my eyes begins the mud Of mascara and nearly prevented tears As my whitened fingers grip the wheel.
