The Clan was rousing it self and coming to life. It lacked a medicine cat since the death of Fuzzymind, a death which had especially disturbed Ivystar. But the next apprentice had made it evident that she didn't desire to be Fuzzymind's heir for the position of medicine cat. The leader chewed the last morsel of the rabbit he wanted and gave the remaining half to Dreamthief. Ivystar then turned his frame and bounded up on the Tall Rock. He yowled," Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Tall Rock for a Clan meeting." The leader let the cats gather beneath and continued," Today, with my powers as WindClan leader, I am giving Poisonkit to be mentored by Dreamthief. From now on she will be known as Poisonpaw!"
The chant now was much more impressing as the words," Poisonpaw! Poisonpaw! Poisonpaw! Poisonpaw!" resounded around the camp.

Dreamthief thanked his leader with a polite nod and then began devouring the rabbit. It was fat and juicy, falling off of the bone which was full of sweet sweet marrow, food fit for a feast. And a feast it was! Warriors had gathered a massive fresh-kill pile earlier in the day to celebrate the accent of a kit into apprenticeship. Dreamthief shuddered a little with anticipation. This apprentice would be his to mentor. He had never been a mentor before, and had a few self-doubts. He was a little odd, to be sure, and most cats of WindClan left him alone. But besides that, he was legless, and that would make it very difficult to battle train his young ward. But as the chanting grew louder around him, echoing off the trees, he joined in the yowls of jubilation and shrugged off his fears. "Poisonpaw! Poisonpaw!"

There's no hope of helping us, we've only just begun. We're youth eternal, nothing more to become. A thousand lights are burning bright.
She had been carelessly dozing in the shade of the Tall Rock, her sun painted pelt mixing in with the dry grasses of the moor. Her body had filled out a lot since she'd been born and though she did not yet have all of her curves and muscles, it was almost bone chilling how beautiful she was already. Golden eyes always seemed to be glittering deviously, her lips pulled back in a smile that was much too innocent for her seductive and manipulative personality. It could be difficult to see such a dark personality beneath her shy giggles and gentle purrs, however, especially since she had nearly perfected the fine art of seduction at such a young age. In her light sleep, the soon to be apprentice grinned, eyes slowly fluttering open as she sensed a commotion in the camp. Slowly shuffling to her paws and arching her back in a feline stretch, the young girl licked her lips and yawned, her head tilting with a sophisticated grin spreading across her maw. Mmm.. Looks like its time for my apprentice ceremony. I wonder which lovely warrior will be the one to mentor me? Licking her chest once, the she-cat flicked her tail casually behind her before settling in front of her lead, purring softly as she smiled up at him. She had been waiting for this day! Poisonpaw sounded a hell of a lot better than Poisonkit, anyway. " Today, with my powers as WindClan leader, I am giving Poisonkit to be mentored by Dreamthief. From now on she will be known as Poisonpaw!" A brow was arched, a sort of "you have got to be kidding me" look claiming her facade as she rolled her eyes internally, though externally she was all smiles and, with no hesitation, turned to her three-legged mentor.
She padded up to him, touching her nose against his shoulder and allowing it to linger perhaps a little longer than necessary, her tongue flicking out to give it a quick lick as the rest of WindClan chanted her new name. "It is an honor to have such a worthy warrior as my mentor," she whispered to him, giggling softly as her tail curled over her body, a spark of mischief flickering across her eyes.
Give day a darkened light. Always burning from both ends. We're proud of reputations we all own. Together forever. Rejected but never alone.

((Sorry if this is not long enough for you all, I did a really great post and then it deleted itself))
Greypaw smiled. Poisonpaw was finally an apprentice. His mentor was going to be Dreamthief, he had no doubt that Dreamthief was capable, even without four legs, but he wondered if he would be the right kind of mentor to Poisonpaw, like Ivystar was to him. The blue-grey tom wondered about the days they would be training together, as WindClan's only apprentices. There was a strong bond to be made between them, if they were to survive, they had to learn to adapt, and to learn to agree with each other. But overall he was pleased, and chanted along with them, "Poisonpaw! Poisonpaw! Poisonpaw!"

((I didn't know you had replied, sorry.))
Dreamthief looked down at his new apprentice and grinned. She was a wily one this, he could sense it. She exuded an aura, a sign of a powerful cat, and not only was it an aura, but a dark swirling one at that, with deep shades of violet and red. He hoped that they would bond well and that he could be the best mentor he could to her. Dreamthief was infatuated with beauty. Perhaps it was because he was incomplete and thus ugly himself, or perhaps because he remembered his mother having a beautiful face, or because of the vibrant colors, sounds, and feelings that jumbled themselves together in his mind...for whatever reason, he was, and thus he was infatuated with his new ward, and knew he must do his best, his very best, nothing short, no, nothing short of perfect. He grinned at her as she giggled her sweet, tinkling giggle and said, "No, it is an honor to have such a worthy apprentice," and bowed his head slightly, continuing his grin.
