Hello everyone!
I'm aware that there are probably many threads like this floating around, and I'm sorry for adding to the mix, but I just wanted to announce why I left, as I feel terrible about it!
There are a number of reasons, cheifly among them, last year was a really hard year for me in school. It was extremely stressful with classes, friendship issues for the first time (my group of friends is known for the least drama
), family problems, etc. All of that added up led to my grades starting to slack. So, I quit proboards for a while, and am extremely glad to say that I passed middle school with very high grades, and I'm now a freshman in highschool!
Another reason I left was to work on my own website, Islands of Life ( island-of-life.proboards.com ). I've been wanting to get it to be as large and great as this site was back in it's glory days a year or two ago. I tried to isolate myself from all other sites until I had mine up to par. Well, that didn't really happen. I found myself thinking about how much I've learned from this site about website designing, leading, and pretty much everything that prepared me to become an admin of a sucessful forum. So I decided to come back. Spottedhead also helped by telling me she was just going to keep logging in as me unless I came back so... ;D Love her...
In other news, I'm extremely happy and doing well in highschool, and have a rekindled interest in this forum because I think I'm going to be taking a computer programming course next year, (even though Spotty and others have deemed me a loser for this. ), and I hope that being back here will help me out a lot!
So, for those of you that know and remember me, I missed you all so much! I am forever sorry for leaving then coming back for a few days and then leaving for another few months... My life has been and still is turbulent. I won't be that obsessed little seventh grader I was two years ago, where I was logged on for like 4 or more hours a day every day, but I think I can find some time in my life to come back and post a little bit.
For those of you who don't know me, I really want to meet you! There was a time when I knew and loved every single member on here. Let's recreate that, okay? Introduce yourself here or PM me or something! I really want to be all of your friends again.
Basically, I'm Icecloud, (former and hopefully again) Shadowclan medicine cat, head of the Janitoral Team that I hope wasn't disbanded, and mother/grandmother to too many kittens. I don't even know what happened. XD
In real life I'm just a teenage girl who wants to be nice and make friends.
I love writing and music, (I play clarinet and I absolutely love it!) as well as some other stuff I don't feel like typing.
So I'm eternally sorry, and hope I can make this better the (third?) time around!
