I think that we need to make the skins a bit better. Post pictures of cats or plants that would make a great skin. We can get this site back on its feet and active in no time!

Before that, let's come up with a color scheme. I really like the whole black and green thing, but that's just because those are my two favorite colors. Do you think another color scheme would be better suited? Maybe black and white? Or green and gray? Etc? (As you can see, I'm not partial to giving up both colors.  ) |

I like black, green, and yellow. The yellow ads some contrast to the black, and some similarity to the green. You get the best of both worlds!

Awesomeness. So basically what we have going on here. Except maybe a different green. I'd really like to change out the buttons. I made them EONS ago (like in 2006), so they're super pixelated and not so pretty. If you want, you can create a skin under the skins and forum colors in admin and play around with what colors you like. Let me know when you get something close to what you want and I'll take a look at it. In the meantime, I'll do the same. That way no one has to look at all the mess we're making as we experiment.
Also, we should look for a good background image. Since we like black so much, maybe a good image of the night sky? Especially since our url has starclan in it?

I like the second one the best since it is the most clear and you can actually see the stars.

I took a look at it. Good work, but I think the stars may be a bit too bright. Plus, they don't fill up the screen (at least on my laptop). I'll look around for some new pictures...

Yo, Ravenvoice told me to go to smangii. You should make an account there and then check out their skins section. It's crazy amazing. One of their members made this skin for her: dog-park.proboards.com/I don't want them to totally make it for us (because I like that we do things our own way), but I do think we could use some pointers, eh?
