I love oldies too, but I'm not big into ACDC. The lead singer sounds like he gargles with gasoline every morning. ;D Here are some of my favorite oldies: Lay Me Down -- Crosby, Stills, Nash Tomorrow Never Knows -- The Beatles While My Guitar Gently Weeps -- The Beatles And I Love Her -- The Beatles Ok, basically all songs by The Beatles... Feelin' Groovy -- Simon and Garfunkel Private Idaho -- B-52s Rock Lobster -- B52s California Dreaming -- The Mamas and the Papas Any songs from the Labyrinth Soundtrack, plus others -- David Bowie Whiskey Bar -- The Doors This House is Not a Motel -- Love Jackie Blue -- Ozark Mountain Daredevils And a ton more. I love me some oldies. I also love hard rock, metal. There are a lot of songs like that. Lots of Tool songs, for example... I'm listening to "H" right now. Good tune. If you've never heard Tool before, it might be good to start off with "Schism." I'm basically good for anything. Really, I'm a mixture of everything. I like pop, rock, hip hop, jazz, rap, instrumental, soundtrack and the list goes on and on... Right now, I'm obsessed with instrumental songs  like they are my lifeeee!!! No joke... Especially if they're like hard core from Hans Zimmer or Alan Silverstri. I love the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks, the Sherlock Holmes soundtracks, all of the Marvel soundtracks, the Inception soundtrack, the Batman soundtracks, and there's prolly a ton more that I'm missing. My favorite song as of right now (it changes like daily) is Comeback by Redlight King. So yeah, give me anything and I'm sure to like it! |
