Word-based Thread Contest

No one is RPing. Shame on you. So I'm going to start a contest to try to get your creative juices flowing.

RULES:
1) The thread which contains the most of the following words IN ADDITION to adhering to regular rules of this site and grammar/spelling will win first prize. The thread which contains the second-most will win second, and the third-most will win third. Anyone who participates and genuinely puts forth effort will receive an HM.
2) Words must be bolded or colored in the thread for easier counting.
3) The same word will not be counted twice.
4) An additional point (totalling 2 points) will be rewarded if the word is used in a slightly different way than it appears on the list. For example, if "hawk" was the original word:

One point: "Froststar saw a hawk perched on the elm branch above."
Two points: "Amberstar had been hawking her lately."
Two points: "Her features were hawkish."

5) Two additional points (totalling 3 points) will be rewarded if the original word is not the root word of the word appearing in the thread.
For example, if "hawk" was the original word:

Three points: "Amberstar ambushed Froststar and hurled a tomahawk at her face."

6) One additional point per word (totalling 4 points) will be rewarded for the coherent combination (in context) of two of the words.
For example, if "hawk" and "tongue" were original words, then:

"Amberstar was a sassy hawk-tongued feline; her words sunk their talons deep into every conversation."

Since everyone here has been talking about a thread at Fourtrees but no one has started one, so I will. This contest is closed, but I want to post anyway. This is an open topic; anyone can reply.


Perhaps it was a churlish idea for Dreamthief to visit Fourtrees that night, but it was an acute nostalgia which drove him to the sacred ground during the full moon. As he traveled the path through ThunderClan territory to the ancient meeting place, the bright patches of moonlight piercing through the canopy made him squint and see spots, blinding him to both the darkness and the light. But he was not lost. He had walked the path to Fourtrees many nights with his Clan, and could count the steps there and back. His steps were easy to keep track of since they were labored by his stump, punctuated by the hop of his only back leg. The other hind leg had been gnawed off by a monster in a Twoleg housing complex moons ago. The ill-colored flesh around the bite had since healed, the bark-textured skin now mostly covered by fur, but it was still odd for him to look at it or to even think about.
On the edge of hill overlooking Fourtrees, Dreamthief stopped to rest. He had grown wasp-waisted since his Clan had left and suffered from tachycardia during even short walks. He was saddened by how few cats were left in ThunderClan now. Most did not return to camp at night, and hardly any brought fresh-kill to be shared. The Clan lacked its usual unity, its insistence that each member was integral to the whole and should be cared for. In the past, Dreamthief was looked after for his affliction, and was even considered an affluent member of the Clan for his visions and interesting perspective; now, he was ignored. In Fourtrees he could remember how things had been before The Plague, before everyone left, before the end of the glory days.
These thoughts were interrupted by the appearance of a cat below. Moonlight speckled the cat’s pelt, giving it a sanguine appearance, as though it had just left battle. Who is this cat? Dreamthief thought, almost aloud. Why are they here? Do they seek council with StarClan? Are they still dedicated to the old days? He considered sneaking down the slope, but the element of surprise was not his because of his leg. Instead, he let out a loud meow signaling his presence, inviting the other cat to speak up.
